Green Transportation Ad

Description: As part of a group assignment for my videography class, my teammates and I were assigned to create a 90-second green energy advertisement for OC Transpo. Together as a group, we drafted the story for the ad and then completed the roles we assigned to each other. My role in the group was to take notes from our discussions, research topics related to out topic and edited the storyboard document for submission. My teammate Nanayaw was tasked with creating thumbnail sketches for different shots of our story. These thumbnails were then given to our other teammate, Shuo and she used them as a guide to complete the final illustrations shown on our storyboard.

Description: These storyboards were created by our team, Virtuoso for a promotional YouTube Trailer for Music & Beyond. My teammates and I met with the client to get an idea of what they were looking for in their video. After some discussion, we proceeded to create two storyboards to present to the client. The ideas for both storyboards were done by the whole team and assigned each team member a storyboard to work on. Our team lead, Alexei and I worked on the first storyboard together while our other member Yuqi worked on the second storyboard. Our client was really impressed with the work we presented and decided to go with the second storyboard. Even though they did not pick the storyboard I worked on, I was really proud of the work I did and very happy for my teammate because I know they worked just as hard.

Description: This is the storyboard for my Demo Reel. At this point of the program, I became a lot more comfortable creating storyboards and was able to easily set up the sequence of the video and what I wanted to show in each shot.

Description: This is the storyboard for my explainer video on social media and mental health. As mentioned before, this video is based on the infographic poster I created and this is how I planned out the video from the different sections of the poster. It was a little tricky finding how to make each section transition with one another, but I was able to figure it out and create a great final product.
