Description: There is a lot of research and data that show a corelation between the amount of time we spend social media and how it effects our mental health. I thought it would be great topic to use for my infographic since I have done research assignments, where I collected and analysed data and one of those assignment focused on social media and mental heath. While creating the infographic, I decided since the topic is negative I would use colours that are known for having postive effects on people’s mental health.

Description: This is an interactive PDF form I created for my fictional coffee shop, Expresso Coffee. In the IMM program, we learned how to make documents that allow users to interact and sign them directly without printing the document itself. We were then tasked to create a Survey form for our coffee shop directed at the clientele. The form uses the same design aspects used for the coffee shop’s website, with the logo present at the top and consists of text boxes, a dropdown menu, check boxes, and radio buttons to help the user fill out the form. At the bottom, there is a “Submit Form” button for the user to submit their completed form and a “Reset Form” button if they choose to start over.

Description: This poster was created using words and glyphs to create images. The topic of my poster was typography and I thought what better way to represent typography than using different fonts. I decided to go with a pen and paper theme since everyone’s writing style is like a unique typeface they’ve created. Throughout the poster, I used multiple font types when creating the title and pangram for the poster while sizing and palcing each letter in a way that would catch the viewers attention.

Description: This is the branding logo I made for myself as part of my branding package. When creating my logo, I had some difficulty figuring out how I would like to brand myself. I had multiple ideas and didn’t know which ones to choose. Eventually, I decided a simple logo would work best for me that could be used in any profession decide to go into. I thought using my initials would make a good logo, what better way to advertise myself than using my name.

Description: This logo was part of the website re-design I did for Toronto Cupcake. The previous Toronto Cupcake logo was ok, but I thought it could be better. I kept the same colour scheme the company used prior but adjusted the shade of pink to make the logo stand out more. I thought the cupcake icon in the previous logo was too simple so, I did some research and found different images of cupcakes to create the new icon. Finally, I used a serif-type font for the company name and positioned it next to the cupcake icon instead of around it like the previous logo.

Description: This postcard mailer was one of my first assignments in the IMM program. The postcard mailer is meant to advertise me and a service I can provide, but I did not have experience as a Multimedia Designer before the program. So, I chose to do event planning since I have experience with and have worked on different events. The postcard mailer has double-sided the front displaying my name, title, and a photo of myself while the back shows the different events I have done as well as my contact info.

Description: This is the logo for the fictional bookstore I created, CoZy Books. When I read I usually like being in a cozy area like in bed or on the couch with a warm blanket so, I thought I would incorporate that into my logo. For the colour scheme, I used warm and cool colours to better depict a cozy feeling. This is the first of the many logos I made while in the IMM program so, I'm happy with the outcome of the logo.

Description: This is a logo I redesigned from a fictional clothing store I created back in high school. We were assigned to create a fictional clothing store along with a logo, website, and commerical. My partner and I created a high end fashion brand and decided to use our initals for the brand name and logo. Later, I reused the brand for my store catalog assignment in one of my web development classes in the IMM program. I knew the previous logo needed improving so, I updated the logo and created a new colour scheme. I beleive this logo is a big improvement from what I created in high school.
